URTI PLEASE GO AWAY

Assalamualaikum dear readers n happy Thursday!

How are you? Hopefully all of u are in a good health. Unfortunately for me, I’m down with sneezing, running nose and cough. I’m having allergic rhinitis but usually not this frequent. Nak makan ubat pun tak boleh sebarangan. Just took homemade remedies that are honey and lime juices.

Since during pregnancy, the immune system is quite low hence the attack is quite frequent. I even got asthma like attack during early pregnancy. Alhamdulillah, now no more.

My babies also not feeling well nowadays. I bet most of us are especially kids.

Started with my daughter, having fever on and off associated with running nose. Initially i did not give any medication, only done tepid sponging. The reason is, she hates medication so much. But when the fever did not subsided, then i had to give supp. PCM which also she resisted. But i have no choice. After 2 doses, the fever subsided. After 2 days, the fever come again.

This time i noticed she had cough as well. Luckily after frequent tepid sponging and bathing the fever subsided. For cough, i just rub an ointment and massage her chest and her back. Alhamdulillah, it works.

Last night when i came back from work, my children already fast asleep in the living room. But noted my son also started to have cough. He even coughing during sleep.

Once  put them on bed, he started coughing (I need to wake him up to go to bed...he is so heavy for 4 year old boy, i cannot ‘dukung’ him anymoreJ). Because of recurrent coughing, he even vomitted. I guessed he just finished his milo drink before went to sleep. Pitied him. Later, i put on ointment rub on his back as well and he could sleep peacefully throughout the night. Alhamdulillah.

If you noticed, i seldom give medication to my child, not because i don’t care but they don’t like to take so much. They will spit the medication out. So, no point to give it unless the symptoms stubbornly don’t go away. Funny right, how doctor’s children hate medication so much.

Though, I thank Allah, He did not tried me something that i cannot endure. Even, sometimes the situation quite tough for me as I worked on shift basis while my husband is far away and I need to left her with bibik ( i have to trust her and TRUST ALLAH the most thay i can rely on my bibik to take care of my babies). Could not simply ask for emergency leave like that unless the condition warrant me to stay at home and taking care of them.

May Allah bless us with a healthy body, a peaceful mind and a prosperous life!

Ameen.

MY CHILDREN, MY PRECIOUS!!! :)
